Golf mk6 battery drain

Twice in the past month, I've gotten up in the morning to be greeted by a dead battery, clicking sound when I turn ignition...warning lights going mental etc. Jump started each time off the gf's car and it worked fine for 3/4 weeks and then again one morning it was dead again.

Two mechanics have checked the battery with multimeter and the old metal thongs and both have said battery is working perfectly fine and that it is most likely something not switching correctly on both occasions. Is there any easy way to diagnose by an auto electrician or will I have to wait for the dreaded dead battery again.

First thing to do is replace the battery. If it died on you once it'll do it again.

Yep I read it, I just presumed that he had driven his car to his 2 mechanics & that his working alternator had charged the battery sufficiently to fool whatever test his mechanic put it through. Even if he does have a circuit draining his system somewhere, the first step to tracing it is..

    DING DING! Replacing the battery!

Another vote for the battery here tbh, its unlikely to be a parasitic draw and I doubt the mechanics properly load tested the battery

I had a similar-ish problem, but the car was murdering batteries every couple of months. Turned out to be a faulty ignition switch.

I used have a Snap-On thermal diagnostic imager. Worked a treat for draining issues due to components not switching off or faulty circuits. Came across some vws where the window control/door lock units were the issue
