What Car reliabilty survey

    Interesting survey on the reliabilty of cars less than 3 years old in the UK. Lexus top of the pile no surprise there. Alfa Romeo, my favourite machines, 5th most reliable cars on the market, says alot about the quality of the Mito and Giulietta.
    Nissan 4th from the bottom is a surprise.

    Almost 15,000 Alfas, mainly Mitos and Giuliettas, sold in the UK over last three years so decent sample for the survey

    I would suggest that it says a lot about the quality of the survey.

    MG is in 8th position. I rest my case....

    Think those surveys are utter bollocks tbh.
    It wouldn't affect my decision making in the slightest and I just can't see how mg is a more reliable car than Nissan.

    JD Power is a satisfaction survey, it's how much the owners have enjoyed owning the car relative to their expectations, so it's a very, very different thing to this survey.

    Over 14,000 inputs in this survey based on faults on cars under 3 years old so a very reliable sample and outcome
