Pyrite

Hi, I have recently been advised that the house may be affected by pyrite. I am trying to get information. So first is to contact the builder, I have been told it was [snipped], but someone believed they were not trading with that name now, but I managed to get a phone contact, and the lady (to call her something polite) was very reticent to give any info when she heard the word pyrite, even trying to make me think she did not know what pyrite was. So, the question is, I just need to know the year of the building and if there is/was any warranty on it. Are they obligated to give me the information or not? I think I may be opening a box of thunder here. [snipped] Thanks

    Did you buy new?
    What year was it?
Did you get Homebond or premier guarantee?
You could try the pyrite remediation board.

i did not buy new, i think it had been let by the builder previously, i bought in 2013. and i have never heard about that homebond or premier guarantee, si i guess no.
for the remediation board, they ask for that info from the builder, but how can i get that information? is there any public register of these things?

Have you any signs of pyrite damage in the house?
