Southwell 1:45 - Crosse Fire is a horse I have been a close follower of in the last few years and I feel like I have a real feel for this fella, especially at Southwell where it's had a lot of success. This is maybe not one of the easiest class 4 races it could have had, but going in at bottom weight off a handicap mark of 72 alone should see it in contention. I think what is key with this horse is that it doesn't get stuck in the pack. I don't know whether the horse is easily intimidated, or whether it just hates the notorious Southwell kick back, but this needs to break well and with a draw of 4, hopefully it will be given enough space to run its own race. Should know within a few strides of the start whether we're on or not. Think Azraak the three year old could be the real threat here though.

20/1 a nice price for me on this, think it really should only be about half that.
