Xiaomi EU ROM essential?

    Evening all, just received a Redmi note 4x today and have been looking into installing the EU ROM on it.

    Having a few issues, mainly navigating the Xiaomi website in order to unlock the bootloader. I get to a certain page and I don't get the option to translate so I'm stumped.

    That's neither here nor there I'm sure I could eventually install the EU ROM but it might take a while.

    Is it worth it for the hassle though? Does it just remove some bloatware or does it improve the phone in other ways?
