Put outside front door, wrap chain around them, wait two minutes. Collect chain.

Iirc, there was a big bin in Birmingham city centre (not much use to you, granted) for people to dispose of their knives in. I thought it was unusual at the time - thank you for enlightening me, OP.

Some people like to dispose of them in other people's backs!

The guards can take them and keep them in their safe.

Bin them if they’re not sharp. Blunt them and bin them if they are. Same way as you’d sharpen them, but ‘wrong’. For sharp tips, clamp them in a vice with just the tip sticking out, and tap with a hammer till rounded.

Or give them to somebody with a use for perfectly serviceable knives?

    big ass knives
The phrase ‘big ass *.*’ can always be improved by the addition of a well placed hyphen.

    ‘Big ass-knives’

If they're the tin shite that passes for a knife in most kitchens, bend them up and shag them in a bin.

Tis a fright to the Lord that people won't spend a few quid on a proper knife. If they do somehow end up with a good one they'll use it till tis as blunt as my arse before replacing it with another sh1te one from TK Maxx instead of sharpening it

Leave them in the block and throw them in the bin, tape them in so they don't fall out.

If there's life in them, freecycle - I'm sure somebody could use them. If not, in to the metals bin at your local recycling centre, just take the edges off first.
