How do I get rid of it, please?

Machine started announcing I should change my password (I never had one) in X days. I finally gave myself one. Now, hating it, I want rid.

Switch on and it comes up as 'Wrong Password'. Click a red X and it says " User " and I need to type in the password. How do I stop this irritant, please?

Once you have current password it's simple:
after logging in press CTRL+ALT+DELETE
on next screen select Change Password
on next screen enter Old password and leave New password fields empty.
hit enter.

If you don't have current password it's simple............, but you have to figure yourself as i don't want instruct how to break into anyone's PC in no time. Google will have all that step-by-step:D
