HRI question

I had renovations done last year that qualified for the HRI. I'm claiming the tax credits over 2017 & 2018. I want to get a job done in January 2018 (about €6000 total price). Can I claim the HRI for this in 2019 & 2020?

Are there rules on multiple jobs?

There's no problem claiming the second job.

The threshold is annual at €30,000 excluding vat, so if you wanted you could get a job costing €68,100 done, claiming half in 2017 and half in 2018 and get all of the VAT back, ie €8,100 over 2018, 2019 and 2020, IF you paid for half the job in 2017 and half in 2018...
