Had anybody attended those Fashion Factories and could you honestly say they're worth €100?? Seems an awful lot of money. I can't understand groups of friends seeing it as a good day out

I was staying in a hotel where one of Pippa's was going on. Didn't see inside obviously but it seemed like a small trade show. Stands outside the main ballroom selling make up, brushes and jewelry (all ones she features regularly), and a Poco pop up, upstairs so I'm sure she'll be selling the planners and candles there soon. There was also nail bars, not sure if they were free but there'd be massive queues for them when the ballroom lets out so whats the point? I'm sure some justify it as a great girly day out but I'd rather take my €100 and go for a meal and drinks or even a half spa day or something.

She made a profit of 50,000 from one weekend of fashion factories so I suppose that's where your €100 is going.

I'd say the profit margin on them is very, very high or they wouldn't do them. Hotels would offer discount on room rental as it gets money spent in their bars and restaurants and some people stay over on otherwise quiet weekends. Goodie bags are all donated, as are the clothes etc. Paying models and speakers would be an outgoing expense and mostly they have family and team working them so whether they're paid or not is unknown.
That K Club house didn't pay for itself.

They have become repetitive. There is a market there and I have previously attended and enjoyed but they're not good value when you break down the cost of goodie bags etc.

Trade show is exactly what I'd call it. I haven't been to one but from what I've seen on snapchat it seems that way. Id say you'd have a small fortune spent at the end of it. €100 for tickets and then all the rest. Do people not realise they're paying money to be advertised to?? Literally sitting in a hotel function room watching ad after ad-
The stands are the usual Betty & Biddy, skin nerd, Cloud 10 bla bla. I could set one up myself at this stage.

Pippa is raaaaking it in from them. In one weekend alone she met 2,500 woman. Tickets are €100 a pop.

I've never been to any of these fashion factory type things, none of my friends would have the spare time or money for something like this. But they seem to be pretty much the same format: goody bag, afternoon tea, fashion show, beauty demo - is that it? Seems quite expensive - is it actually value for money? And would they get repeat business?

On the other hand, a local pharmacy regularly does customer evenings - where they have a demo for say Benefit, Estee Lauder etc - tickets are much cheaper and are often redeemable against products on the night. I've seen the likes of Flormar and Aimee Connolly recently advertised for such events. These type of things seem much better no?

I would think so, I mean if I want afternoon tea, I'll go somewhere nice and have it
