Getting charged for UK text messages

    Hi I have a large amount of text messages to this number : 00447948121268

    On my account amounting to just under €5 can you advise what this number is and why it is happening on my iphone.

    I am about to cancel my direct debit for illegal charges that have not been made by myself.

    84 messages in total, is this eir constantly charging me to activate imessage or facetime, as I did that a long time ago and now 84 times in one month.....

    I am not roaming I am using home wifi or work wifi...

    Please advise what this number is before I disconnect the account

    Thanks for getting in touch with us. 

    I've checked this number but getting no information from it as it's an English number. You will be charged for activating imessages however this number doesn't seem to be the number attached to this service. It's possible you've signed up for something and it's charging. 

    Can you turn off all notifications to see if this still happens?
