I recently changed a towel radiator in the bathroom however I cannot get it to heat up.

It fills with water no problem but the water does not seem to be circulating.
Both inlet and outlet operate fine and the old radiator heated up straight away.

This is the new radiator, any suggestions

Turn off all the other radiators. Turn on boiler. After 15 mins turn back on the other rads

Hi Dtp1979, apologies for only getting back now, had to travel for family emergency.

I tried doing that but nothing happened. I turned off all other radiators and turned the boiler on, I then opened the
radiator vent until the radiator became warm. I turned all the other radiators back on.

Now the radiator in the bathroom heats up but only to roughly the same temp as when I opened and closed the
    vent, ie warm.

Should I just open the vent until tha radiator gets to full heat?

Sorry I never said anything about opening the vent. Turn off everything that heats. Then repeat as above

You have installed a new radiator and you may need to rebalance all the other radiators in the heating system.

The internet is full of articles and videos on how to balance radiators and the science behind it.

Is it a sealed system? if so, was more water let into it after the new rad was fitted?

Did you make sure both valves are properly open on the new rad, at least for the testing?
