    Hi Guys,

Having an issue with my 2008 Honda Civic where I can't start it - have tried jumping it using a jump starter kit but to no avail. Headlights still light up when I've the key in so it's leading me to think it's the starter motor.

Could anyone recommend 1) a mobile mechanic who can come out to fix the problem (I'm in Dublin 16) and 2) ball park how much I'm looking at cost wise

    Cheers

    RP

Does it sound like it's trying to start?
Because if you've a duff starter motor that won't be the case.

I had a very good mechanic call to my house a few years ago when the starter motor went in my car. He replaced the starter motor with the car in the driveway, which was great. Do a search for automec.ie and you'll see a mobile phone number for Donal. Best of luck.
