Cargiant charging £500 extra if you are a dealer...

    I have heard that you are charged £500 extra if you tell CARGIANT you are a trader from Ireland. Anyone have any thoughts as to why? They offer no explanation. :(

    It sounds like some bull**** that someone on a barstool would make up.
    Do you have something stronger than "I heard"?

    It's in their FAQ under 'Do you sell to trade'

    "As our prices are genuinely low we often sell to traders and other dealerships. To ensure our best car prices are available to the public we charge traders an additional £500 to buy directly from Cargiant."

    Why would trader's want to buy from Cargiant in the first place.The can buy from the same place's as them.
