    Is is genuine?

    Thanks for the answers! I'm _very far_ away from Ireland, internet access on mobile only. I could not safely check the link and blocking my boi card would be a major problem - that's why I decided to ask something that I'd normally consider a silly question. Thanks for help! :-)

    Pretty sure its not your bank would never contact you by text

    BOI do contact by text when they lie and pretend they've tried to ring you.
    Also get texts about house insurance from BOI.
