    Hi

Just wondering if the rads and central heating pipes are drained down for a few years does it cause corrosion in the system

Also would I be mad to pull out the rads if I've no plans to use them.I'm decorating and the boiler is kaput. I have solid fuel stove heating house

    Thanks

I think you would be mad to take out rads..,Would you not think about fitting a new boiler and getting the rads working again.if only as back up to the solid fuel stove

It's worth remembering that plumbers wouldn't recommend the removal of piped central heating from a house any more than a turkey would vote for Christmas ;)

Is the copper affected by being left drained down?
