Steel Screen

Hi there,
I was wondering if anyone knows any companys who would be able to manafacture a steel and glass screen like in the images in the links.
Rectangular in shape with a door either at the left or right hand side.
The dimensions would be 280cm wide by 290cm high

I have approached an Irish manufacturer but they are quoting me 17k which is far too much.
I can find steel window manufacturers who do this type of work but it always seems to be with very thick steel and not the slim profile like in the pictures

I looked at something similar myself, 1.6mx2.6m, only found the one company in Ireland and a few in the UK, quotes varied from €5k to €8k supply only with glass, handles and fitting extra. Have ended up having it made by a steel fabricator from 25x50mm box section with aluminum glazing beads from an aluminum extruder. Its not gone for manufacture just yet so I'm not sure how it will turn out but I'm fairly confident it will be a nice job, I will have put a lot of time and effort into this and have pulled a few favors also but it should end up costing in the region of €2.5-3k all in fitted an all.

Well its encouraging to hear that its possible. I don't suppose you would share who you have fabricating it for you?

Any Steel Fabricator should be able to manufacture this for you given the design of same. Nothing special about the fabricator I have lined up for the job.

Seems like the fabricators up where I live aren't as good as your ones. I cant find anyone who can do it locally. Spent all morning ringing and emailing them all.
