Volunteering/Dog Walking in Rescues

    Hi All

I am wondering if anyone would have any recommendations for where to volunteer with animals (specifically dogs) in the Kildare/Dublin region.

I work as a support worker for adults with aspergers and many of them have an interest in dogs. I think it would be great if we could help out a rescue with some dog walking and it may also benefit some of the individuals I work with.

I am looking for somewhere that isn't too much of a drive from the Celbridge/Leixlip area. Any information would be greatly appreciated :)

The pound on the Ashton Road welcome volunteers I believe. Easily accessed from the M50 if that helps.

Folks, I'm so sorry as I know everyone wants to help, but we're not allowed recommend individual rescues on thread. By all means, make any recommendations you have by pm.
    Thanks,
