    Isn’t freeview just terrestrial signals? You are around Kilkenny by the looks of things?

    Are you in a Border Area, or on the East Coast? Then you might be able to pick up the UK and Irish stations through a Freeview/Saorview TV/Box, through the Ariel, no post cost needed.

    A Freesat Box wont get you the Irish Stations, but they might show in the None Freesat/FTA channels but would be locked.

    Forget about Freeview in Tipp.

    As I posted before the threads were moved, RTE & TG4 have been available on Freeview in NI this last 5 years, but have limited coverage even in NI, much less the entire island.

    Go with Saorview for Irish TV, & free satellite for UK channels.
