Plating stripped from rings

    Hi all,
Both myself and the wife's rings were manky so I threw them into a small container of washing up liquid and Milton sterilising tablets to give them a proper clean. Unfortunately, I didn't realise that the Milton would strip the white gold from it. Now all the rings are a not so nice matt copper colour.

My question is, is this fixable? Is this just a case of getting them "dipped"? If so, is that doable on rings with diamonds in it? And roughly, what's the typical cost?

    Thanks
