    changed over to theses tags for the autumn born batch of calves and had to order a new set of taggers anyways all got tagged with one tag until they arrived and i decided id vaccinate and tag with the new taggers. A complete balls of a yolk. it wouldnt hold the tags properly, if one moved a bit it wouldnt line up and as the pin wasnt supporting the point of the male tag properly, if the female tag was anyway of it would just bend. Am i doing something wrong or whats other peoples experiences?

    We use 2 tiggers here
    1 for the BVD tag & the Red tiggers with the insert removed (due to bigger headon female tag) for the electronic tag

    Has anyone got a reader for these tags.
    Being using for the last few years, don’t see benefit

    can you post a pic please? i cant believe my taggers are any way half right, i must get a pic tomorrow

    We position the electronic tag before catching the calf.

    See your point, if you move the tag, it can remove itself from the slot
