Is this a drink after every km or what's the crack?

road race around the curragh and through kildare town - flat, no grass

It's a standard road race. Bit of a festive feel (painting red noses at the start etc). Did it a couple of years ago in horrendous rain and obviously little protection around the Curragh. Have signed up again this year so hopefully better conditions.
