What Is Your Favourite Desert?

I'm just after finishing a lovely meal and after my meal I had my favourite desert which was plain and simple to make and one my mam gave us after our Sunday dinner it was good old triffle which I still order when going out for a meal. I wouln'd be familiar with a lot of the deserts that are in restaurants today so it would be interesting to hear what people like to have as a desert when at home or going out for a meal.

Quick everyone, think of a 'desert' joke.

    Low hanging fruit time.

It looks like this thread is going to be deserted fairly quickly if these jokes continue.

Banoffee. Anything with caramel really. You could dip Erik shin in caramel and I’d probably eat it.

(That’s probably, not definitely. Don’t be getting any ideas)

Take a spell to correct the title and OP and they'll dry up quickly enough.

Not much banoffee in any desert I visited. Though one particular cook in Antarctica did a mean Crème Brule.

In a desert? You'd be better just sticking to water.

    Any flavoured Cheesecake,
Trifle especially when I'm at home,
Chocolate cake with cream not ice cream,
Vanilla ice cream when out or at home,
Raspberry ripple ice cream with chocolate and sprinkles when at home,
    Custard, cream and sprinkles,
Love a bit of Victoria sponge with extra cream,
Profiteroles with chocolate sauce and cream.
    and A supermac's 99 covered in sprinkles.

When asked would I like cream or ice cream, it has to be cream and I prefer my ice cream when it is nearly melting not straight out of the freezer.

To be fair, some "sticky toffee" you get has the texture of desert.

Think it was the OP's fault for asking for people's favourite desert instead of dessert!
