Recently while in the High Court in Belfast, I got chatting to a guy who was there representing his friend. He gave me the name of a website or board that gave you the info needed to handle your own case in court. I think it was specific to Northern Ireland. Does anyone know of this site or its www?

A person who is not a solicitor or barrister but who provides assistance to a litigant in the courtroom is called a 'McKenzie friend'.

Since Oct 1st, 2017 there are new rules on the subject for the courts in the Republic, they're laid out on the courts.ie website....

This 'practice note' for the NI courts dates from 2012, it may or may not reflect the current situation in NI ....
