Gun clubs and renewing of gun licence

Hi, not sure if this has already been answered, but I'll ask anyway...
Himselfs gun licence is up for renewal, but unlike the previous two renewals, he's not in a gun club this year. Does he need to be to get the renewal passed? The gun is used for vermin control, clay and he has farmers permissions for years.
    Thanks

as long as he has his permissions sorted he is fine. just get a written note from said farmer giving him permission to hunt on his land.

also it is good to write out on a second piece of paper about the vermin control and the clay shooting. more information you give the better
