I will be painting a couple of bedrooms in the future. It's been a while. Just need a reminder as to what to start first i.e ceilings then walls then woodwork?

Ceilings, ( don't be afraid to get white paint on wall, it will actually help coverage when cutting in)
    Walls
    Woodwork,

in that order. That way you dont need to cover doors or indeed tape off the skirting

For me it's ceilings, walls and then woodwork. I do woodwork last because when painting walls I generally use rollers which produce a lot more splashes and can leave a fine spray especially with more watery emulsions.
Woodwork is done with with heavier paint and finer brushes so it doesn't tend to splash or create a fine spray.
