Problem with digital certificate ROs

So basically I have had to download a new certificate as the previous one as out of date. I followed all steps as advised and saved the BAC file down on my computer. Then when I go to manage certificates and select the certificate from where I saved it and enter my password it is telling me ‘invalid certificate. Ensure you have selected the correct certificate’.
I have selected the most recent version so cannot understand the issue.
I have emailed ROS to ask them but as they won’t reply at least until tomorrow I was wondering if anyone here has experienced this error before.

Thanks in advance for any advise.

    What's the exact error message?

Is it certificate used is invalid?

If so, check the time and date on your computer also make sure the time zone is correct.

When you download ros certs they download as the .name.bac file name. right click and change name removing the .bac part of file and should no issue. Sorry if you are after this stage

Thanks for the replies - I will try these later when I am home on the laptop.

I actually do think my computer could be set to the wrong time so hopefully that will fix it.
