Teeth Whitening

    Hi there,

I've been thinking of getting my teeth whitened professionally, however there are so many different products and brands that dentists use and I know that some are more highly regarded than others. E.g. Zoom, Beyond, KoR etc..

Could someone please tell me what product / brand is considered the "best"? As the old saying goes, I'd rather pay more now and get it done right once, than get a cheap job done and end up paying twice to get it done again with a more reputable brand.

I'm located in the West, so any dentists in Galway City or County would be suitable, I don't mind travelling if it means getting it done with a different product if the results are worth it.

There's so many clinics and dentists all offering varying treatments that it's hard to know which one to go for, could anyone on here please recommend a particular dentist and / or particular brand of whitening gels and formulas?

Thank you, any insight would be much appreciated.

    I went to <snip>

You go in and get a mould made of your teeth.

Then wait a day or two. They give you the mould and some whitening gel.

Put on the gel overnight . Do it every second day for a week or two. Good results.

A lot of people have commented on how white my teeth are since.

They also give you a new whitening gel every time you have a check up.

I don't recommend them for general dentistry work at All, but for this , they were great and quite cheap. Maybe 250 or so

Thanks for the the info, very informative, mind me asking however why you wouldn't recommend them for regular dentistry work?

Had bad experiences with 2 fillings there. Pain for weeks after.

So did my mother, father and sister.

None of us get any work done there anymore. We do get our check ups done tho because it's so well run and clean and efficient and central and I get the free gels each time.

Thanks for that, I don't suppose you'd happen to know what brand gel system they use do you?

Appreciate the feedback, unfortunately KoR doesn't seem to be available anywhere in the West of Ireland, if it's that good however I'll definitely keep it in mind and see about travelling. I presume more than one visit would be required to get trays made and fitted etc..?
