Job Offer - Lack of Follow Up

Was offered a job 15 days ago, subject to reference checks/medical.

There has been no communication from them since.

Just wondering if I should follow up with them or wait for them to do their thing? How long should a reference check take usually?

    Thanks.

Did you let them know you were accepting the offer?

    Yes I did.

I'm just wondering if I should send them an e-mail to remind them of my existance or to just leave it

Did you check with your references whether they were contacted?

15 days sitting on your hands?

I would have followed up after a few days.
