Was that from sale agreed or from signing contract?

10 months from sale agreed to keys, no chain involved, house was vacant, sellers only applied for probate months after being sale agreed, it dragged on.

They dragged out signing the contract, think that was around month 5/6 so another 4/5 months after contracts before getting keys.

At sale agreed they told us probate was nearly complete and they wanted a quick sale.

We were almost 5 months from sale agreed to contracts we will be at least another 12 weeks to keys. Vendors are in a chain (we aren’t). We were told when we were viewing that vendors wanted a quick sale due to imminent arrival of new baby. EAs will say anything.

8 Weeks if there are no probate, structural, title issues would be normal.

Ive seen it done in 3 weeks and up to a year. Really depends.

9 weeks from sale agreed to keys. First time buyers , no chain involved and we were very adamant we wanted a very quick turn around we had previously waited 16 weeks on another house sale agreed and they pulled out so wasnt going to let that happen again

3 weeks since sale agreed. Nothing progressing here, still trying to finalise mortgage with the bank and heard nothing from solicitors. Have a feeling this will be a long enough process.

I was 13 weeks from sale agreed to contracts. And then 3 painful weeks from signing to getting the keys.

10 weeks for us, would have been quicker but our solicitor had queries that held it up for several weeks.

Knew the seller well and both sides wanted a quick sale.
