Predictive text disappeared from Google Search

I've just updated my Samsung Galaxy S7 phone to the latest updates and now when I use Google Search, the predictive text bar that normally displayed above the keyboard has disappeared! Has anyone else noticed this?

It's really annoying.

What has that got to do with Predictive text? I still should be able to see my predictive text bar whenever/wherever I use the keyboard.

Are you using the stock keyboard on the s7 or another app? Maybe Samsung has changed this setting.
