Ski Holiday Madrid February

    Never heard of Madrid being a destination for a ski holiday but always open to being proved wrong. Does anyone know if this is a good place for beginners?

    Really ?? Madrid??
    Wasn't aware of it.I know theres a great place near Malaga called sierra Nevada but wasn't aware of Madrid.

    I'm almost sure there is skiing near Madrid but I'd be surprised if anyone here has been unless they're living there

    won't be getting in any long runs there with max vertical difference of 470m

    skiing in Spain can be ok and cheaper than the big resorts but better off looking at places near the Pyrenees.

    the popular resorts are popular for a reason tho - better skiing terrain, facilities and more buzz to them.
