Hey guys, I recently applied for a new position within a new structure and the title was as above.
Today I got called back and I've an interview for next week.
Right now I'm a team lead within my unit but I can't grow higher or rather the positions are earmarked for others but I'd be more or less a senior analyst.
Does anyone know what potentially an analyst + associate could mean?

'Analyst' is an entry level role pretty much everywhere

Depends where, in the bank where I work an analyst wouldn't be an entry level position.

Whoever uses it like that is wrong. They do the same where I am. They tack things like designer, developer, engineer, or analyst on to titles often entry level roles making them meaningless.

You would expect someone to have reasonable experience and skill set to be able to to analysis on a specialist subject.
