Let's move this thread from Dublin City to Dublin County North forum where the Swords locals hang out.

Remember that this is a discussion site, not a find-a-friend site. But the locals should be able to advise you where to go & what to do to meet like-minded people.

Maybe try join a 5-a-side football thing if that's your thing,

meetup.com is a site which lists groups that are open to all, they're categorised,
along the lines of social etc lines.

Is there anything in your college/work place that is of a social nature, social club etc.

A local newspaper might be of interest, they list events/groups in the region.

wherevent is a website that is events per area, postal code, city etc

    Good Luck
