sd card full

i have a galaxy s7. the sd card is full. i have tried deleting files off it. the files disappear but no space is created...how is this? anyone got an idea?

Depending on your Android version, can you go in to the Storage Settings to see what's taking up most space?

Do you have any cloud services linked? (Google Drive, Dropbox)
