Coax to Ethernet

    Hi All,

I have a playstation in my room and a upc box in the sitting room on the other side of the house. For some reason the internet on my playstation is very unreliable over wireless and I would much prefer to have a wired connection.

There is a coax cable in my room which I believe goes through the attic and ends up beside the upc box. Is there a way for me to connect this cable to the upc box and then use an adaptor of some sort to connect the other end to my playstation?

    Where's the router located?
Homeplugs via the power sockets might be a solution - http://www.freetv.ie/networking/homeplugs/

    Coax?

What was that cable put in for? TV? If so, I can't see it being suitable for networking.

I agree with this, subject to your accepting that one of these yokes will only give you a fraction of the speed that appears on the label, so go for the fastest ones you can afford and you'll need a pair of them.

It is possible, but expensive - look into the Homeplug/Powerline units instead
