    Hi guys,
A friend of mine from India has braces, he has broken one of his wires. He is looking for an orthodontist over here to continue his treatment.
He has gone to several already, however they have all turned him away. They have all refused treatment because they don't have the tool required to open the clips for the brace (3M Smart Clip). Does anyone have any recommendations as to where he could go to get it sorted? He's based in Cork.
    Thanks!

Reliably informed that private practices do not use the smart clips here. The HSE does however.
Its either that or start from scratch here.
    Hope this helps.

The smartclip system seems not to need any special tool that an orthodontist will not have. Getting a orthodontist to get involved is much harder. If your friend is here for a while he can simply start with whatever system the orthodontist uses, if he is here for a short time just have the broken bit of the wire removed and seek help when he gets home.
