As I know to be elidgable for JSA you must satisfy a means test which means tests your savings.

    My question is:

Do they only ask you to produce a copy of your current account saving and not a savings account ?

You have to produce statements from all your accounts in any and all financial establishments

How would they know or check if you produce statements from bank A while having your savings in bank B ?

You can't ask here for ways to commit fraud.

Edit, pressed post too soon - usually you'll have deposited money between accounts at some point.

    He didn't ask for ways.

He/she asked for ways to hide his savings to claim a full payment which is welfare fraud.

You can have up to 20k in savings before it impacts your means test.

    http://www.citizensinformation.ie/en/social_welfare/irish_social_welfare_system/means_test_for_social_welfare_payments/means_test_for_jobseekers_allowance.html

    For example
    If you have €55,000 savings:

The first €20,000 is assessed as nil, €20,000 to €30,000 is assessed as €10, €30,000 to €40,000 is assessed as €20, €40,000 and €55,000 is assessed as €60.

    €10 + €20 + €60 = €90

Savings of €55,000 gives a means of €90 per week.

You would have shown photo id with proof of address at time of opening up the accounts. All of your accounts in the one financial institution are linked. If you have a current account, savings account and a credit card account they are all linked together

Just wondering how thight our means test system is these days as they are pretty poor in the past without the simple implementation of photos on dole cards which allowed millions to be frauded

You will be required to disclose all your savings.

I know that but how do they go about checking if you do not

By random checks and audits. It should be trivially easy to just search for accounts associated with a pps number.

How? I have a savings account opened when I was a kid. I’m pretty sure there is no reference to my PPS on it.
