Hi I want to get into make up with a focus on theatre/fashion & SFX. I saw the course in LAacademy which looks fantastic and right up my street in terms of what I want, however, it's full time and I really need an evening option.

Does anyone have any experience with this college and advise? Any advise on the best colleges to attend for this type of thing? I want to do this right, I want to get somewhere that will really allow exploration of creative and artistic make up artistry and not just run of the mill stuff as I am really looking to make a full on career change!!

But financially, I need a part time course so I can earn a wage 9-5! I know that's not ideal but I believe it has to be feasible as I am willing to work my ass off to build up a good portfolio etc.

Any tips? Am based in Kildare so anything in the surrounding area/Dublin will work!!

    Thanks!

I was going to suggest looking at some of the specialist make-up training centres in London, if you're serious about doing it as a career.
