Painting Walls

    Hi,

I painted some internal walls with Dulux soft sheen and it worked out well but needed a 2nd coat. Got a 2nd tin of paint and it turned out that it was MATT and not soft sheen. Unfortunately I realized this after I had painted the walls.
Result is not good. streaking and 'wet looking' spots.

Question : Can I just re-paint over the matt again with soft sheen or do I need to do some prep beforehand?

Advice on this would be very much appreciated.

    Mike
