    Hi folks,

Currently looking for a new saw.

Small. Stihl ms 170. Its a nice saw not reliably at all tho, spent alot in parts. Oil pump currently gone was told its not woth the rep a shame really.

Medium. Husky have it 3 years from new happy with it forget the model can be odd at times to start cold tho.

Largest. 18 inch stihl 031 AV its a gem old as the hills goes 3rd pull on the button cold.

So looking for somthing with a ~24inch bar area for larger cutting.

Dont want to shell out crazy cash (Stihl) Looking at a Solo or Echo? I hear both are good.

You need power to drive a 24 inch bar. Have you been watching too much American logging documentaries?
