    Hi all,

I´m renting a new home and they have UPC wiring all over the house and I have no idea on ISPs nowadays. Plus, per contract I´m not able to change the wiring :(
So my question would be, since I´m pretty much stuck, which ISPs are able to use UPC wiring in Dublin/Terenure area?

    Thanks in advance

Only UPC(now Virgin Media) use their wiring.

I highly doubt that a house in any part of Dublin does not have a phone line going into it or at least the trunking. You can put your eircode or address into Eir's website and that will tell you what services are available, then you can pick what you want.

Virgin Media (formerly UPC) does not share their network with any other provider. End off.

So, if you want a connection from another provider, you'll have to get a different physical connection.

Could be fiber, phone line, fixed wireless, 3G/4G. But that particular socket is ... one provider only.
