price off plastering a house

    Hi I'm in the middle off building a house and am pricing getting the plastering done.Some plasterers are telling me they price the house by the sq foot off the house not the walls they have to plaster is this correct I'm getting quotations from 5euro to 6,50 euro a sq ft .Any comments?

    Just paid €5 sq ft+ Vat.
    That was a 2400 sq ft house inside and out and a large garage thrown in.

    Plasterer is at top of his game too so really good job done.
