I’m currently in fifth year and the teacher has asked for topics to be known and I honestly haven’t a clue of what to do I was thinking of something to do with the holocaust but I’ve heard the examiners are sick of hearing about world war any ideas or interesting topics I could do?

Depends on what interests you really , could do the civil war or war of independance (loads of info available), civil rights movement in ireland or usa , irelands UN missions etc etc ... pick a topic that you would be genuinely interested in , it makes it so much more easy long term

I did mine on the Industrial Revolution in the UK, focusing on housing conditions and child labour. Pretty interesting and very easy to find sources of info.
