Advice on body condition for breeding heifers

    have a few zagx & hkgx kept from this year for breeding next feb/march

    need to put a bit more of a frame on them

    was thing 300-400grms of soya bean & the same with a beef nut

    any advice if this is right or wrong- too much protein?

    Ya might be a bit too much but soya bean meal os high in energy aswell so it should be alright. As a word of warning hkg isnt a great maternal bull. Daughter calving difficulty is high at nearly 8%.

    we have a few older hkg cows here and they are super mothers
