    hi
there are a few threads here asking for recommendations for car valet, but they are old ones.

so i would like to know if anybody has had a valet anywhere in Dublin??

has anybody used the valet in Hyundai long mile road?

Elite seemed to look the part but i dont think they are in business anymore.

some of the websites talk the talk but dont have any before and after pictures. also, i'm not interested in any shopping center car park crowd.

    thanks

ok, so i've only got round to getting the car valeted now.

ended up over in Posh Wash in Coolock(€94 for full valet), and i'm happy enough with how the car came out.

car was quite grubby when I bought it and it looks lovely and crispy clean now.

only thing is though, the driver seat is still very wet.

had the windows open for a while yesterday and had heater on for just half hour earlier this morning and another hour this evening and its still wet:mad:

If local, go to Home Store & More and grab dehumidifier bags, throw them onto the seats; will absorb lots of the moisture by morning.

thanks a lot curren, I didn't know you could buy bags like that.
i'll keep that in mind to pass on if anyone else ever has the same prob as me:)..

as it happens, I have a dehumidifier(machine) myself, & only had the brain wave last night to actually put that into the car:rolleyes: !

i'm going to stick it in for a few hours in the morning and it should be fine then because the machine is good.

i'm just hoping mould wouldn't start to form after 5/6days

If you’re local to Coolock and the general area try 5 Star Auto Valet in Baldoyle Ind Est and Kilbarrack Rd. A decent bunch.

thanks a lot, hadn't heard of them yet.
i'm a fairly new driver so i'll be sticking my nose in a few different places over the next while:cool:

Another recommendation for 5 star auto valet in Baldoyle Ind Est. Their Mr Miyagi wash for €15 is great compared to other places.

    great^
i'd say i'll only need small cleans now because i'll take care of the car.
so prob won't be needing a valet again for a good while:)
fingers crossed anyway. unfortunately I come with baggage ie kids, and their feet all over the place, might actually be sooner rather than later:mad:

I was asking for recommendations for valets for ages & no one I knew seemed to have ever got one done.
so I just took a chance and went with Posh Wash.
I was happy with the job they done too.
seats were left quite wet, but they were the main problem with the car when I bought it.
they were a bit stained so i'd say it just took a bit of a scrub to get them clean.

had a friend who was looking to get valet around same time as me, but she was being a bit of a snob and wouldn't go to anyone over the northside, so she went with a crowd in Dundrum. she wasn't even happy with what she got either:rolleyes:

I like the look of that place in Baldoyle too^.

and just to say, with the JC place that was recommened above, I messaged them on their FB page and they never got back to me. so they lost out;)
