Hi. Just looking to find out a bit more of the ins and outs of the injuries board process. If the injuries board provide you with an authorisation to proceed with your claim through the courts are you absolutely obliged to do so or do the insurance company receive an authorisation too and they can then issue the proceedings? Thanks in advance

A plaintiff is authorised to issue court proceedings not obliged. The only person who can cause proceedings to issue is the plaintiff.

Why do you think a insurance company will issue proceedings for personal injury of a person?

Thank you for your response. Just didn't really understand the process.
