I am currently in my fertile period and I had sex. He entered me without a condom on and this lasted for a few minutes until he said he had to be careful so he put on a condom. He came in me but was wearing protection.

What are the chances I'm pregnant?

Slim to none so wouldn't be going off the alcohol just yet. STIs obviously are another matter but if that depends on your partner

    MOD

Moved from Clearasil and Hormones to Personal Issues, as I think you'd get better information here. The PI charter is enforced from here.

    Hi Op

    its possible but unlikely.

I always remember the 'joke' they told us in school in sex ed.

Q: What do you call people who use the withdrawal method.
    A: Parents

OP you're old enough and mature enough for a physical relationship yes? then you're old enough and mature enough to have the talk with your partner, and make appropriate decisions over contraception!

    good luck.

As soon as the thread is moved to P.I., the quality of 'help' takes a nosedive.

    Mountjoy Mugger,

Please familiarise yourself with the Personal Issues Forum Charter before posting again.

And rather than taking a dig at an other poster, you might like to offer some constructive advice yourself.

You should seek advice on obtaining the morning after pill.

You need to get to your GP and think about going on the pill. It won't protect you against STDs but it will help protect you against getting pregnant. If you are old enough to be having sex, then you are old enough to discuss contraception with your GP. Which is worse? Discussing a medical issue with your GP, in confidence? Or telling your parents you are pregnant, and the rest of your life caring for and emotionally and financially supporting another person? Possibly on your own.

If you're not ready for any of those conversations, then it might be best to hold off on having sex for a while.
