Peugeot Partner/ Citroen Berlingo chain?

    Hi everyone has these vans got some sort of chain in the engine in the new models 2012 and up have been told by someone there's a belt and some chain in the engine not quite sure looking to find out if there is or not

    There's a belt and a chain. The chain is in the head and shouldn't need replacing if oil changes are kept up to date.

    The newer 8 valve engines have only got a T-Belt...The older 16 valve (04-11) had a t-belt and a chain connecting both camshafts.

    Note...>>..Depending on build code some of the early 2012 partner/berlingo's had a T-belt & Bottom crankshaft Pulley recall after 80k Miles (120k Kms) where Peugeot/Citroen will cover the costs...Water pump will cost extra.

    What about a 131 that's what I'm looking at with 100k miles should I stay away from it or would it be ok
