my friend just told me today that following her recent breast check, she received a letter in the post asking her to go to Vincents for certain tests and ultrasounds.

i tried to reassure her today that they are just being cautious... (easy for me to say :( )

really what im wanting to know is, did anyone else ever get asked to visit hospital for tests straight after their breast check???

Yes - my sister - they said she had an area that was a bit thickened compared to their definition of normal, so just wanted to have a better look as such. All was well, and continues to be well.
I myself have had mammograms in both Vincent’s public hospital and private, fantastic facilities, lovely staff.

Knowledge is always key. Better that they are cautious. Perhaps ask her if you can accompany her. Many people bring a friend.
