    Hi Guys,

Looking to get your opinion on the above. Hoping to pick one up for the Mrs before we head off the NY in January, she seems to have a bit of a passion to learn and has been wanting a DSLR for some time now.

This, I've been told is quite a good intermediate camera. Most of the kits I've seen offer the 18-55m lens. I'd probably think a zoom lens might be decent, or can somebody suggest something else that might come in handy in NYC? I know it depends on the type of photography, but it'll be the usual, buildings, infrastructure etc.

After that, she can pick up her own bits.

I've had a look at HN, Argos and could possibly pick it up in the airport too, but all other suggestions are welcome. Where does good bundles etc? As camera shopping is something i've never done before!

    Thanks in Advance,

    John

If going to NYC maybe check the prices over there. This is a special for a two lens kit (There may be State Tax on that)

Yeah, I've been into B&H before for different GoPro accesories and stuff, it's awesome! I'll definitely consider it anyway. She's going to be in on the buying process, so ultimatelt I'll leave it up to her, but for that price & the extra lens - it's better than what I've seen around here.

    Thanks :)
